John Legend & Brandy – Quickly – 2008

I haven’t posted in a minute. Not because I couldn’t, but because I didn’t want to.
And honestly, I was in my feelings. I kinda needed some empty.

Then today happened, and it hit me… why not post exactly what I’m doing right now?

So here’s the scene:

I’m playing NBA 2K26…
Watching The Crown (season one) with my husband…
And listening to one of my MyFavz playlists on Spotify.

That’s how my brain operates when I’m vaping—three lanes open, all flowing at once.

And then this jam just slid into the moment.
John Legend & Brandy – “Quickly.”

A smooth, late-night groove from a combo I didn’t see coming but clearly needed.
It’s definitely one of those “Grown Folks, Let It Ride” joints.
It’s really a great song.

Do yourself a favor and check this one out.
