Rock Wit’cha (The Remix) is my jam. I had that CD on repeat like it was part of my personality back in the day.
That remix shows up on Bobby’s Dance!… Ya Know It! album, and whew… Bobby Brown was that singer, that dancer, the R&B bad boy of the late ’80s all the way through the mid ’90s. No debate.
When I was DJ’ing my college radio station, this song lived in my nightly QuietStorm for a season. I played it almost every night. And yeah… I used to pretend somebody requested it. Night after night.
Listen… If nobody was gonna ask for it, I was gonna make sure it got played anyway. That’s DJ privilege.
